I know the complexities of running a family business because I come from one.
In the 1920s, my grandfather opened our first store selling boats. My father and his brother later took over the business. I started working there at a young age and earned an education in family business you can only get from the inside.
After working in M&A for big companies, I realized my passion lay in helping family businesses and other private companies achieve success – both personal and financial. That’s why I started EdgePoint and that’s the reason we exist today.
