EdgePoint conducted a controlled auction involving the industry’s key players. EdgePoint leveraged its previous experience with EDGE to speak directly with buyers that would find value in continuing the industry’s consolidation trend.
 
Ultimately, EDGE was acquired by Alliance Entertainment, representing the sale of the fifth-largest distributor in the industry to the largest distributor in the industry. EdgePoint was able to secure value well in excess of what the client believed was possible.
